Inspired by Clive Barker’s “Dread”, Luca Torasso composes and produces his newest work, and it’s his most violent in terms of sound and content to date. The concept of the album is to analyze fear in all it’s psychological forms and manifestations. It’s an unstoppable voyage into a downward spiral of anguish with no chance of escape, made up of countless audio frequencies and finely honed layers of noise, distortion and acute feedback supported by extreme tribal technoid rhythms… all classic components of SANdBLASTING’s unique style and well known to the initiated… and all pushed to the very extreme.

In this new work nothing was left to chance. It represents three years of intense studio work spent researching and creating unique sounds from the various modular analog synths in the SANdBLASTING collection. This album isn’t just inspired by fear, it actually physically creates it through the use of a literal wall of frequencies that hit your body and mind like an out of control freight train.

Along with the release comes a bonus CD with a series of remixes called “DREMIXAD” by international artists such as Ambassador 21, Asche, Cervello Elettronico, Geistform and Monolith, to name a few. Mastering By Eric Van Wonterghem ( Monolith, Insekt, ABC ) at Prodam Production Studios.

Ultra Limited Deluxe Box Only 33 copies!!

Because of their recent Berlin underground hype Velvet Condom sold out their previous albums which
makes „Vanity and Revolt“ the best opportunity to get the finest of their 3 albums plus unreleased material like “Mini Skirt Mini Morals”.

All 19 titles on „Vanity and Revolt“ are exemplifying the diversity of the sound of Velvet Condom:
From danceable electro wave floor fillers like “Samt und Stein” and “Kalter Lippenstift” to cold urban fan favortes like ”Menace” and “Never Ever” and the Last modern synth pop hit “Rouge City”. Absolutely Essential!!

Attempting to bring the dark adventurous moods of many of the “alternative” musical groups of their youth together with the compressed sound and extreme sonic spectrum curves marking much of todays modern electronic music, The Lingams and Yoni represents the latest experiment of the chameleon like chanteuse Martina, synthesizer aficionado Filippo Corradin, and musician/producer Justin Bennett. Having grown up in the era of the 4AD music label, MTV’s “120 Minutes”, and an ever emerging collection of groundbreaking alternative musical acts, The Lingams and Yoni were heavily influenced by the melodic melancholy of bands like The Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, and This Mortal Coil.

Echoing reverbs, large spaces, dark melodies and unexpected instrumentations are just a part of what defined the sounds of this movement and era, but most important from the perspective of Martina was an intriguing sense of experimentation within the “popular” musical format. As such, The Lingams and Yoni was founded upon the declared and deliberate intention to bring these elements into the modern age and see how they reacted alongside the modern heavier electronic musical approach that makes up a large part of the members current individual artistic endeavours.

The debut album, “Power… Lies… War…” marks the groups first offering within this chosen framework, and the results are a description defying blend of hauntingly beautiful and strangely accessible musical voyages combining electronic and organic instruments of all kinds, swimming together in harmony over vast timeless spaces. Welcome to the hypnotically enticing world of The Lingams and Yoni. Guest HANIN ELIAS on the Song ” Power Lies War”
