This solo project of Luca Torasso starts in the 1997: at today have been released 6 Cds . The name of the project has not been choosen casually: there is a link between the metal surface treatment (sandblasting) and the music project. SANdBLASTING thinks all people on the earth have a brain but they are unable to use it, cause the big amount of rust coating around it. The main intention of the SANdBLASTING music project is to produce sounds as abrasive and violent as the SANDBLASTING metal surface treatment, for to remove the rust coating and to clean the brain of the people. In the 1998 SANdBLASTING releases his first track "Abba Pather" on the compilation "Related to ZZZprod..." (ZZZprod) and in the 1999 the first mini-cd "I AM I" (ZZZprod). In the 2001 born the first label-project called D.s.K. (Das SANdBLASTER KABINETT) and under this label SANdBLASTING produce and release 3 works. In the 2002 SANdBLASTING releases his new work "SCASSATO LIVE" (D.s.K.) and begins the collaboration with the Italian label SONIC BELLIGERANZA. In the 2004 SANdBLASTING and the producer/writer/A.A.A. Dj Balli create a SONIC BELLIGERANZA sub label called "+BELLIGERANZA": a label dedicated to noise and ideas. The first release of this sub label is the new concept album of SANdBLASTING "ElPaso Sound Wall" distribuited by AUDIOGLOBE and MASTERPIECE. In the same year begin the colalboration with :BAHNTIER// and his label RUSTBLADE. At the begin of the 2005 all the releases SONIC BELLIGERANZA-RUSTBLADE enter in the Ant Zen distribution. At now SANdBLASTING is working on his new technoid/power electronics release: this new work should be released in the 2006. On January SANdBLASTING play live at SCHLAGSTROM (Berlin) with BAHNTIER, SYNAPSCAPE, ASCHE and DIVE. In the 2004 SANdBLASTING begin to work like Dj in different clubs in Turin (OnGaia, Faster,Shock-Club). Actually he collaborates with the organization of LOONATHICA.
